Let’s face it, we all need new shoes at some point. Whether it’s for a fabulous night out on the town, new joggers for running, new school shoes for the kids, or even when you put your thongs on for that first bite of summer, blisters can and do happen.
Always make sure your shoes fit well - that there’s no pinching or cramping. It’s a good idea to buy your shoes in the afternoon when your feet are a little expanded from your usual walking and standing activities.
To avoid a blister in the first instance, apply Nexcare™ Foot Protection Tape to your heels and toes or the inside of the shoe or wherever you can feel the shoe rubbing. It will help to reduce friction to the area and potentially avoiding a blister*.
Sometimes no matter what you do a blister will still appear. They hurt, they break and are generally uncomfortable, making those new shoes unwearable for a few days at the least. If this happens we suggest applying a Nexcare™ Heel Blister or a Nexcare™ Toe Blister Strip to the affected area for protection against dirt and germs.
The Hydrocolloid Gel pad will cushion the wound to help relieve pain and discomfort and the hydrocolloid technology will assist with the healing of the wound*. It is also waterproof, making it suitable for multiday use with less frequent changes.
Let’s END MANKY! You know what we’re talking about! All those moments when you see a used wound care strip somewhere it shouldn’t be - floating past you in a pool, on the shower floor of the gym, on the bathroom floor (thanks kids!) or in an exercise class. We’ve all experienced that gross feeling and thought “Ooh that’s soooo manky!”. Now with Nexcare Brand Foot Care Range we’ve made it our mission to #endmanky.
The Nexcare Heel Blister strip and the Nexcare Toe Blister with the film border helps to reduce edge roll and they are waterproof, helping to avoid your strip floating past as you swim. The Hydrocolloid technology cushion protects to help heal blisters and also reduce friction on the heel*. The Nexcare Foot Care range is also LATEX FREE.
